Hotel was quite funky with musical instruments in the lounge area. Room was a reasonable size for France and for the price. Good breakfast and free babyfoot in reception area. Well located for shops and restaurants, although a little difficult to find as its down back streets. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. St Germain-en-Laye also exceeded my expectations - I had assumed that everywhere on the outskirts of Paris was quite rough, but this is a very nice suburb and much nicer/upmarket than many parts of central Paris.

Whilst in the centre, there was zero street noise which made for a good night's sleep - the doors are soft close which also prevent the morning slamming of doors as people march to check-out. Room and bathroom seem relatively new and therefore clean and modern. Breakfast fairly standard but not bad Many restaurants within walking distance as well as the Chateau would stay here again

Very helpful and polite staff. It's only a short walk to the train station and there's an excellent 30 minute ride into the heart of Paris for only €5. Saint Germain En Laye is a delight - lots of small independent artisanal shops with elegant architecture.
